TAMPA, Fla. - March 13, 2019 - PRLog -- Fitness CEUs is an online fitness training school recently launched with three modern, easy-to-use courses that have been approved by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) to qualify towards their professional trainer recertification requirements. Professional trainers, fitness trainers, group fitness instructors, and group exercise instructors can now easily take short courses that cover a variety of topics that will apply to all clients as they accumulate CEU credits.

Course Offerings

Postural and Movement Assessment Course: The Postural and Movement Assessment course focuses on the NASM postural and movement assessment. In this short course, personal trainers will learn the rationale for integrated fitness assessments, the importance of posture, how it relates to movement observation and how to assess it, as well as how to perform different posture and movement assessments. Personal trainers will be able to use this to improve the way that they design exercise programs for their clients.

Core Connection Course: How well do you know the core? When you say: "Use your core!" Do your students know what to do? Do you know how to help them activate and strengthen their core? Learn how to connect the mind and the core to move efficiently and safely during exercise, yoga practice and other activities.

Flexibility Training Course: Flexibility is a very important component of fitness, but it is often overlooked in today's fitness programs. Our bodies were designed to move. A body that can move with ease and without pain is one of the keys to a healthy life. Freedom of movement is something that can't be understated. Factors such as age, previous injuries, occupation, how active you and levels of fatigue can all play a role in your flexibility.

In order to maintain a valid certification with NASM or AFAA, professionals must complete the following continuing education within a two year period:

- NASM: 2.0 CEUs (20 hours)
- AFAA: 15 CEUs (15 hours)
