ImmunoReagents, Inc. Receives Visit from Administrator of Small Business Administration

RALEIGH, N.C. - March 11, 2019 - PRLog -- ImmunoReagents Inc. hosted a visit from Linda McMahon, Administrator of the Small Business Administration on February 21, 2019. North Carolina Lt. Gov. Dan Forest and SBA North Carolina Director Lynn Douthett joined McMahon for the tour.

McMahon is an advocate of women owned businesses, and Dr. Ann Black, CEO and President of ImmunoReagents Inc. has been operating ImmunoReagents for over 13 years. Black recently won the Governor's Export Award and sat on a panel discussion with other small businesses with Administrator McMahon.

Dr. Black highlighted the company's growth, with the partnership with the EDPNC (Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina). Black stated, "For a small export business, the services they offer are invaluable. In addition, we were able to hire five new employees, saw $600K in new sales and realized $15K in cost savings as a result of our association with EDPNC. They also introduced us to the US Department of Commerce."

During the facility tour of ImmunoReagents, McMahon learned about antibody manufacturing, custom processing, and company's recent acquirement of the AKTAprocess system for large volume biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
