PANAMA CITY, Fla. - March 10, 2019 - PRLog -- After two months of nominations and voting, Alignable was delighted to announce that there's a winner for Panama City's 2018 Small Businessperson of the Year!
The winner is Kristi A. Kirkland of Answer Marketing Inc.

Competition criteria focused on local SMB role models, who are dedicated to helping other small businesspeople succeed. After an extended round of nominations, top nominees advanced to the finalist stage, where local Alignable members voted for their favorite candidate.

Panama City's winner has received a personalized badge to celebrate this achievement. The badge can help drive more prospects, visibility, and recognition on the Alignable network for the rest of 2019 and beyond.

Alignable was thrilled with the massive response they had after announcing this contest, which was held in 1,400+ communities across the U.S. and Canada. Special thanks go out to all participants, including more than 30,000+ nominees and voters.

Panama City, Florida's winner, Kristi A. Kirkland, began preparations to open her business late in 2010, during a time when businesses were closing due to the oil spill. Answer Marketing was created out of a community-wide need for small business marketing, media, advertising, and business growth services.

Opening Answer Marketing with barely $100 in the bank Kristi was a true pioneer to how hard work and determination can prevail.  Since day one she has been helping others find creative ways to build their businesses on a shoestring budget, make strong community connections, drive business, and build leaders able to take on whatever comes their way.

Kristi is an active member in her community serving on the Girls Inc of Bay County board, positive member of the PCB Chamber of Commerce, executive director of the S.M.A.R.T. Team & A-Team Power Connectors, Honorary Rotarian, and supports a multitude of other local non-profit and community endeavors. Being awarded this honor was one of Kristi's highlights in 2019, especially after surviving Hurricane Michael.

"Helping businesses grow has always been a passion of mine. Seeing the light come on when they learn short cuts to save time or the excitement when clients start calling is as rewarding to me as it is to my customers!" Kristi A Kirkland
