Foothills Chapter of Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) Endorses Bernie Sanders For President

AUBURN, Calif. - March 9, 2019 - PRLog -- The Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) Central Sierra Foothills (CSF) membership has endorsed Bernie Sanders for President by a unanimous vote at its regular monthly meeting on March 6, 2019. The group, which is also a hub for the Sunrise Movement, a youth-led organization that advocates political action on climate change, and for Our Revolution, will now begin reaching out to the Foothills community of Bernie fans to help spread his message and grow a democratic socialist political movement.

"The Bernie 2020 campaign is going to be an amazing opportunity to spread socialist ideals and progressive values in our region." said Jess Dickson, chair of DSA CSF. "We're now asking all socialists, progressives and other Bernie fans to come organize with us for Medicare for All, A Green New Deal, $15 Minimum Wage, Public Housing, Free College For All, Ending America's Wars, and of course, getting Bernie elected our President in 2020!"
