She Elevates Announces Inaugural Awards Gala

CANTON, Ohio - March 8, 2019 - PRLog -- She Elevates^TM, a non-profit organization empowering young girls to become entrepreneurs, today announced that it will be hosting its inaugural Spring Gala on April 26, 2019 at the Cultural Center for the Arts.

The Gala Awards program provides an opportunity for She Elevates to recognize outstanding individuals for the contributions they have made in their communities and businesses. This year's event features four award categories for women, She Elevates Woman Award, Woman Leadership Award, Woman of Courage and Community Elevates Award; and one award given to a girl ages 8-18, She Elevates Rising Star Award.  Award nominations will be accepted through March 22.

The event will take place on Friday, April 26, 2019, from 7-10 p.m. at the Cultural Center for the Arts in Canton, Ohio. The special guest celebrity host is Alexa Lee, news anchor at WKYC TV3.The evening's festivities include an elegant dinner, inspiring program and dancing. Music will be provided by the Michael Austin Project of Cleveland, Ohio.

"This event is vital to our launching new programs to empower young girls throughout Northeast Ohio," said DeLores Pressley, founder and executive director of She Elevates. "We just completed a highly successful Confidence event at Stark State College and look forward to adding workshops in Akron and Cleveland, leading up to the launch of She Elevates Academy^TM."
