Orlando DOT Physicals: Get Healthier in 2019
Dr. Brad Levine, Orlando Chiropractor, DOT physicals provider, and owner at Workflow Employer Services publishes a new article sharing some of the recent diet trends that could be helpful for DOT drivers who want to get healthier this year.
Workflow Employer Services and DOT physical location owner, Dr. Brad Levine recently published a new article on his website, "DOT Drivers: Vow to Get Healthy in 2019! New Diet Trends that Claim to Help You Get Healthy Fast!"
Of course, many people make resolutions to get healthier – eat better and exercise more – when the new year rolls around. DOT drivers are no exception.
Unfortunately, as Dr. Levine explains, this can be really hard for DOT drivers because they are always on the road. However, it's not impossible and it's important because getting healthier for these drivers could be an important factor in their ability to pass the DOT physical when Levine sees them for their appointment.
On the positive side, there are many diet trends today that do make it a little easier, Levine shares, since they're effective for improving health but not as restrictive as some of the other health fads of the past. He elaborates, "There have been several diets over time that claim to get you healthier quickly. And of course, it can be hard to say or determine which diet is best. Specific diet changes that might lead to a healthier lifestyle vary from person to person."
Dr. Levine goes on to outline some of the trendiest diets we will likely see promoted in 2019, most of which are carried over from 2018. These include the Keto diet, the Paleo diet and the Gluten-free diet.
In discussing each of these options, Dr. Levine explains how they are helpful for health, including specific health benefits, who each works best for and who probably wouldn't benefit from each one.
