Kool & The Gang Bring Flavor To Florida Strawberry Fest

PLANT CITY, Fla. - March 10, 2019 - PRLog -- The legendary Kool & the Gang took to the Wish Farms Soundstage at the 2019 Florida Strawberry Festival on Saturday, March 2^nd in Plant City with their hit making brand of funk, pop and soul. The yearly eight-day event included music greats such as Willie Nelson, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, R&B hit man Keith Sweat and country superstar Martina McBride.

"We rocked the Fest that night!" exclaims Robert "Kool" Bell, founder and leader. "The crowd was very responsive as we gave them one of our best performances. It's been ten years since the band had appeared at the Strawberry Festival and the event producers told us they're not going to wait another ten to get us back there. So, this may become a yearly appearance for us."

Over the years, Kool & the Gang have toured with various acts from Van Halen to Kid Rock as well as the Dave Matthews Band. "To us, it doesn't matter what genre it is, it's all about the music and the fans," explained Robert. "We've been welcomed by audiences around the world and across musical styles."
