Ultimate Dining Experience By 2 Starred Michelin Japanese Restaurant at InterContinental Hua Hin Re

HUA HIN, Thailand - March 5, 2019 - PRLog -- To repeat the success of last year Michelin Chef Dinner at InterContinental Hua Hin, the resort is continuing to bring in the exceptional culinary experience to their guests. This year, InterContinental Hua Hin Resort bought in Chef Atsushi Takahashi, Head Chef of 2 starred Michelin Kashiwaya Restaurant in Hong Kong to share his passion and experience through the culinary journey for the resort's guests.

Chef Takahashi flew into Hua Hin to host two inclusive seven-course dinners at InterContinental Hua Hin Resort on 22rd and 23^rd February 2019. He served the original Japanese cuisine in Kashiwaya style paired with selections of Sake to complete the perfect dining experience. The two dining events were held at La Residence, an elegant feat of colonial style architecture and design imitating King Rama VI's 19th-century Royal Summer Palace and at the fascinating dining venue on Hua Hin beach in front of InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.

Chef Takahashi began his career at 19 years old as trainee of three-Michelin-starred kaiseki restaurant Kashiwaya in Osaka, Japan, (http://gm.gnavi.co.jp/shop/0220172411/) to train under second-generation chef-owner Hideaki Matsuo. He had witnessed his mentor lead the restaurant to three Michelin stars for six consecutive years, never once dropping its esteemed status. When Kashiwaya opened its first international outlet in Hong Kong (https://guide.michelin.com.hk/zh_TW/michelin-guide-restau...) in 2015, much effort was taken to stay as true to the original restaurant as possible. In 2016, Kashiwaya Hong Kong received not one, but two Michelin stars.
