TOWSON, Md. - March 4, 2019 - PRLog -- The Benefit Roast, a new weekly webinar and podcast, is providing employers of all sizes with fresh health benefits information and a forum for discussing concerns, insights and experiences related to delivering health coverage to their employees.

"A lot of misinformation on all sides is being spread, intentionally and not so intentionally," said Rodger Bayne, an insurance broker and president of Benefit Indemnity Corporation, which sponsors the webinar. "Our goal is to give employers with as few as five employees a place to go to share, discover and learn about how health benefits actually work."

Bayne is featured on the free webinar, which occurs each Monday at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Episode are converted to a podcast, which can be accessed on iTunes and other podcasting platforms. Episodes also are available at http://benefitindemnity.co/brpodcast.

The format of The Benefit Roast is designed to encourage discussion. Bayne, who has been creating innovative health benefits plans for more than 30 years, starts each episode with a brief discussion of a major topic in health benefits. In the first two episodes, the topics he covered included prescription drug costs and the effectiveness of provider networks.

"My goal is to inform employers and others about the latest developments in the health benefits arena so they might be able to save money and provide employees with better options," said Bayne, an innovator and advocate for better employee benefits for more than 30 years.
