With half of ticket proceeds given to a Minnesota Maker, it's also a way of supporting the entrepreneurial efforts of a local artist. Emily Pearson of Pears on Print was the 2018 Minnesota maker who received the proceeds. "What an amazing opportunity for Minnesota makers to not only get our brands in front of the public, but also to have the chance at winning half of the ticket sales for the day," said Pearson. "I still can't believe I picked the lucky box and won $2,010 for my business! It allowed me to make some big improvements to my show display this year, launch my website with all new product photos, and purchase more inventory for the upcoming spring and summer shows." End
