Warehouse Insight From Insight Works Now Available on Microsoft AppSource

Insight Works announces the availability of its popular Warehouse Insight warehouse management system (WMS) on Microsoft AppSource, an online cloud marketplace providing tailored line-of-business solutions.
EDMONTON, Alberta - March 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Insight Works, a Canada-based Microsoft partner and independent software vendor (ISV) specializing in tools for the supply chain and manufacturing industries, today announced the availability of its popular Warehouse Insight warehouse management system (WMS) on Microsoft AppSource, an online cloud marketplace providing tailored line-of-business solutions.

Warehouse Insight, as an add-on for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, provides warehouse and production employees with full access to Dynamics 365 Business Central via barcode scanners and handheld computers, all while complementing Dynamics 365 Business Central's inventory and warehouse functionality. This provides intuitive warehousing tools for inventory counts, shipping, receiving, picks, putaways, bin management and more.

An already successful product prior to its Dynamics 365 Business Central connection, Warehouse Insight enables users to get real-time access to warehouse inventory and production data on the shop floor; perform all inventory and warehouse operations from handheld devices; use the same device for any location configuration, including non-mandatory bins and directed pick; capture lot and serial numbers for any transaction; scan directly to sales and production documents; use license plating to streamline warehouse operations; and easily customize views and menus on handheld computers.

"Inventory and warehouse managers often find themselves battling inefficient operations due to inaccurate warehouse transactions and time-consuming manual tracking, but with Warehouse Insight, that's all a thing of the past," said Brian Neufeld, Insight Works' Director of Marketing. "As an add-on for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Warehouse Insight helps to ensure that the physical warehouse remains in sync with a user's data in Dynamics 365 Business Central. The manual tracking of warehouse transactions is no longer required, reducing overhead and the potential for errors resulting from double entry of data."

Kirsten Edmondson Wolfe, Senior Director, AppSource Product Marketing for Microsoft Corp., said, "We're excited to welcome Insight Works and its Warehouse Insight to Microsoft AppSource, which gives our partners great exposure to cloud customers around the globe. Microsoft AppSource offers partner solutions such as Warehouse Insight from Insight Works to help customers meet their needs faster."
