Ms. Fernandez is a native Floridian, born in St. Petersburg and a resident of Orlando for many years. She has an extensive background in the field of business development, having worked for more than sixteen years in the wireless communication industry, serving both retail and commercial customers. During that time, she saw the transition from analog to digital wireless communication, a true breakpoint in that key industry.

Later, Gena took up a new challenge in a very specialized area of telephone communication: amplified and captioned telephones. These remarkable devices enable people with hearing loss to read a captioned record of a telephone conversation on the screen with an amplified handset. A very large number of these customers were hearing impaired seniors, and it was through this connection that she discovered her passion for serving the needs of seniors.
