Grand Opening Celebration and Ribbon Cutting scheduled for March 28^th

Clive, Iowa – February 20, 2019 – Nebraska Furniture Mart (NFM) will celebrate the grand opening of its new 26,000 square foot showroom on March 28, 2019.  The celebration will start with the official ribbon cutting at 10:00 a.m.  Comments will be made at the ribbon cutting by Mayor Scott Cirksena, Nebraska Furniture Mart President Tony Boldt, and Des Moines Store Director Tim Mullen.

Nebraska Furniture Mart opened its first Iowa location in 2009. Since then, the Nebraska-based home furnishings store has seen steady growth and will move to the new, larger store to meet increasing customer demand. "We are very excited to be able to expand our product offerings in the Des Moines area with our new store location and we are proud to be a member of the Clive community," said Tony Boldt.  "Nebraska Furniture Mart is pleased to offer our wide selection of flooring, appliances, televisions and more in a one-stop shopping experience."

Customers who visit the store will can visit the newly expanded electronics and small appliances departments, check out the new high-end appliance salons and an all-inclusive design center. The new location will also sell lawn care, snow removal and other seasonal power equipment. With over 600 appliances on display and an additional 21,000 square feet of warehouse space, customers are certain to find what they need in one convenient location. The new customer pickup office brings added convenience by giving shoppers the option to pick up their merchandise without getting out of their cars.

Every day customers explore the store and visit unique in-store attractions like NFM's state-of-the-art TV and electronics displays, dream pattern carpet wall and giant in-stock flooring wall. Shoppers can also browse the bathroom vignettes with showers, tubs and vanities.  The combination of selection, value and service make Nebraska Furniture Mart a unique destination store that will draw visitors from all over the Des Moines area.

The new store will be located at 15500 Hickman Road in Clive, Iowa. The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting and Grand Opening celebration on March 28 at 10:00 a.m. Refreshments will be provided.
