Annual DONNA Marathon to finish breast cancer took place this past weekend with its new course layout, spanning from Atlantic Beach to Ponte Vedra Beach. The DONNA Foundation has joined with Wander to become the first feature on Wanderlist
, a cooperative segment that includes highlights from the marathon and some of the supporting local businesses within the Beaches Town Center, including The Courtyard at 200 First St, Jaffi's Boutique, and KYDS Clothing Boutique.
"DONNA Marathon Weekend attracts thousands of runners from all 50 states and many countries. They come here to finish breast cancer, and because of a 26-mile beach block party hosted by the beaches community. There's a reason this event has been recognized by CNN Travel as one of the "Seven Marathons Worth the Trip,"" says The DONNA Foundation Executive Director, Amanda Napolitano.
The supporting businesses offered discounts to marathon participants in addition to donating a percentage of the day's sales to the DONNA Foundation. With the overwhelming success of the marathon weekend, Wander hopes to highlight the best moments of the race in an effort to continue the growth and support of the DONNA Foundation.
