![]() Atlanta Nonprofit Mixes Optometry, Art, and Stone at Night of SpectaclesBy: The Lighthouse The event is a celebration not only of The Lighthouse's mission to bring sight and sound to Georgians in need, but also the unexpectedly beautiful intermixing of optometric science and visual art: using recycled spectacles (glasses), art students from around Georgia create original works for exhibition and auction. In addition to the art show, guests will be treated to the musical styling of Atlanta's Del Baroni and Tony Winston; a silent art auction including works by local artists Erika Guillory Page, Igor Korsunskiy, and Blayne Macauley; heavy hors d'oeuvres; and an open bar. This year's Night of Spectacles will be held at and cohosted by Pietra: Luxury in Stone (pietraluxury.com) To learn more about The Lighthouse's mission and work, visit our website. ### The Lighthouse provides vision and hearing services through education, detection, prevention, and treatment. We work with a statewide network to provide vision screenings, eye exams, eyeglasses, eye surgeries, and hearing aids to over 7,000 Georgia residents each year End
