Atlanta Nonprofit Mixes Optometry, Art, and Stone at Night of Spectacles
By: The Lighthouse
The event is a celebration not only of The Lighthouse's mission to bring sight and sound to Georgians in need, but also the unexpectedly beautiful intermixing of optometric science and visual art: using recycled spectacles (glasses), art students from around Georgia create original works for exhibition and auction.
In addition to the art show, guests will be treated to the musical styling of Atlanta's Del Baroni and Tony Winston; a silent art auction including works by local artists Erika Guillory Page, Igor Korsunskiy, and Blayne Macauley; heavy hors d'oeuvres; and an open bar.
This year's Night of Spectacles will be held at and cohosted by Pietra: Luxury in Stone (pietraluxury.com)
