MAM's New Scholarship Provides Opportunities For Budding Artists

MONTCLAIR, N.J. - Feb. 19, 2019 - PRLog -- On December 28, 2018, a private tour and reception was held at the Montclair Art Museum (MAM) to mark the establishment of the Kathryn Marie Juliano Art Scholarship Fund, and to celebrate her remarkable legacy. Kathryn Marie Juliano was a talented artist, life-long resident of Orange, NJ, and well-known student at MAM's Yard School of Art. She passed away on October 18, 2018, at the age of fifty-seven, and is greatly missed by her family, friends, classmates, and community. The scholarship is dedicated to promoting diversity and offers motivated students in grades K-12 with free tuition for one studio course during the school year at MAM's Yard School of Art, as well as exposure to arts professions.

To support the Kathryn Marie Juliano Art Scholarship Fund and provide educational opportunities for budding artists, please contact: Sophiana Leto, Development Associate, Volunteers & Major Gifts at sleto@montclairartmuseum.org or 973-259-5124. All donations are 100% tax deductible.
