One recent collaboration included a prominent local business owner who filed for divorce and in return, was sued for millions of dollars, wrongfully claiming he spread a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI) to her. Working in tandem, Stein handled the dissolution of marriage case and Bernstein successfully obtained the dismissal of her Law Division case, as well as the appeals emanating from the dismissal order.
