Online Quoting System Expands at Wallwork Heat Treatment

BURY, U.K. - Feb. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- The success of Wallwork Group's rapid online Aerospace heat treatment quoting system has led them to develop and extend it into commercial heat treatment and also hard coatings and vacuum brazing.

Manual quotations can take up to 48 hours to turn around whereas the online equivalent can be undertaken in a matter of minutes. Each quote form only requests details relevant to the process being considered to ensure both ease and speed of completion. For example, commercial heat treatment asks for material, dimensions, weight and quantity with the option to upload CAD or other drawings. After choosing the treatment details and testing requirements (a simple single click) there is a field to leave any other information. For each option users are guided on how to provide the information. Partially completed quote requests can be saved for later recall.

Users log in to a secure account area where they can review and manage incomplete, pending and final quotes. Only basic user details are required to create an account. Cleary presented icons show the choice of quotes grouped conveniently under two headings – Aerospace and Commercial.  Heat treatment, aluminium and magnesium processes, hard coatings (TiN CrN TiAIN (Hyperlox) Nitron CA Nitron MC Nitron O Nitron 100 Diamonlith DLC) and vacuum brazing are all covered.

Access to the 24/7 service is available from any internet enabled location and on any type of device including desktop PC, laptop and mobile phone. An extensive FAQ provides further guidance if needed. With over 370 sign-ups, in addition to the UK, enquiries are being received from France, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Spain and Switzerland. Currently available in English, French, German and Italian, other languages maybe considered in the future versions.
