Timing Chain Solutions (formerly Drive Solutions) was previously owned by Andy Fordsdick.  With years of experience in the industry Andy is still available to offer technical assistance to our sales team.

Denis Welch Motors is a family owned business that has been trading for over four decades specialising in classic cars for road, race or rally use.  Involvement in the competition side of motor racing extends back even further.  As pioneers Jeremy Welchs' great grandfather built the first six cylinder engine ever made in the U.K. in 1906 and went on to build Brooke Marine racing engines with notable success.

Iwis motorsysteme GmbH & Co. KG in Germany ensure a wide set of tests aimed at assessing mechanical performances, such as life endurance, materials composition, chemical compatibility, etc., is performed to validate any new product prior to its launch on the market.  These are performed at their fully equipped facilities providing metallographic, chemical and mechanical tests.  This assists to keep engines on track running at optimum efficiency for longer.

The automotive chains high quality is based on each individual part being technically perfect during the manufacture process, from using high-grade heat treated steels, to tolerance and surface quality; these standards conform to the requirements of ISO 9001.

These chains are characterised by an above-average service life due to excellent wear resistance, high consistency, matchless precision and considerably higher breaking strength and fatigue strength than required by ISO standards.  All IWIS chains are pre-stretched and are provided with a highly efficient initial lubrication.  Simplex and Duplex chain which include a 3/8" pitch are commonly used on the majority of automotive engines.
