DELHI, India - Feb. 13, 2019 - PRLog -- Relatability goes a long way when it comes to creating content. The concept needs to click with the audience and make them relive the world presented before them. When the audience is young kids, the task becomes a tougher, however when it connects there is no going back. The show Super Bheem and Chhota Bheem share a similar success story.

The creators of this show realized that they needed to curate a character and a theme that not only clicks with the mind of Indian kids, but subconsciously embeds social and moral values amongst them. In an interview the producer and the brain behind the show, Mr. Rajiv Chilaka stated that the idea of the show dawned when the company was working on a previous show, Vikram and Betal. While shooting the show, they came across practical problems with multiple locations and realized that they need to have a fixed set of traits when it came to shooting and portraying an animated show for the sake of relatability and the time taken to make it. The fixed traits should include a setting, x number of characters, basic ground theme and so on. They also realized that the characters of Vikram and Betal were not the most appropriate to hit the chord with the age group they were targeting. Hence, the concept of Chhota Bheem came into foray.

The protagonist was consciously developed keeping the audience in the backdrop, the curious mind and sentiments of children aged four to twelve. Bheem is a nine-year-old boy who is seen saving the day with the help of his friends. Taking inspiration from the mythological character Bheema, Chhota Bheem has superhuman strength and is the epitome of bravery. In effect, a boy of a similar age group watching the show will aspire to be like Bheem, a much younger child will want to be like Raju, or a faithful friend like Chutki.

Every episode comes a full circle as Bheem ends up teaching his friends and the audience, moral lessons like bravery, telling the truth, helping others and so on. At the same time, the character is also a child that partakes in mischiefs and pursuits of fun. This is where the show bifurcates the moral codes and childlike actions, and is remarkable at doing so. In fact, if one has to compare the trajectory of the show and the character, one can trace a maturity graph. In the first episode, Bheem is seen stealing ladoos and justifying his act by saying he is hungry. The show titles this not as a theft, but as childish behaviour. The show has come a long way evolving from indulging in child's play to actually saving the planet.

Chhota Bheem, as a series has grown and now is also showing Super Bheem, a parallel universe where the characters, with Bheem in the lead, always awe the audience fighting with demons and exploring cosmic spaces. A similar experience is coming your way in the form of the movie, Super Bheem Bana Vajraveer on 17th Feb at 12PM. Don't forget to gather your family and enjoy the superhero fiction brimming with tales of friendship, love and revelry.
