Solar Panel Validation- A Successful Initiative

In a nutshell, it is hard to tell the genuineness of solar panels by sheer aesthetic validation. The solar industry world wide has recognized this as a teething issue and has initiated campaigns to resolve it in the best interests of the consumers and the manufacturers, at large.

The industry regulators in some countries have initiated programs to ratify the authenticity of solar panels using state of art technology. One method involves scanning the barcode and validating it against the existing code repository of the participating manufacturer. Initiatives on similar lines are being envisaged involving participating manufacturers thereby trying to weed out forgery.

Such initiatives are doing well in instilling consumer confidence.
