WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Feb. 12, 2019 - PRLog -- Kings Park, NY. Tom Donaldson, President, Signet International Holdings, Inc. (SIGN), announced today the appointment of Bradley Nelson, V/P of subsidiary Signet Graphene Technologies, Inc. to assume liaison role in the development of the new deicing project in connection with Florida International University (FIU).

"Brad has the background and credentials, and is very familiar with the FIU Deicing advancement. He will be consulting with Dr. Agarwal, PhD and Chair at FIU. We want to develop this patent to the fullest and have it ready for commercialization as soon as possible; we are confident that Brad will achieve this," says Mr. Donaldson.

Mr. Nelson has been conducting his research in his lab at Stony Brook University, New York where he has completed the installation of several advanced visualization systems including the "Reality Deck" 1.5 Giga Pixel Display room. He received his Engineering Degree in Aerospace Technology from the State University of New York. He was one of the original designers of the polygon-scanned large screen laser video projection system that was installed at the SAC military facility. While at Ampex Corporation, Mr. Nelson was part of the design team charged with developing the AVA3 computer graphics system and has extensive experience in computer, optical, and electronic engineering including the design and prototyping of multilayer P.C. boards. Mr. Nelson has been granted several U.S Patents. He also developed stereoscopic displays used by Intel, NVidia, Kia, Hewlett Packard, Sony, and the Jet Propulsion Laboratories. He joined SIGN in March 2007.

"I am pleased Brad accepted our offer to head-up this project. His enthusiasm encourages us even more," says Mr. Ernest Letiziano, CEO, SIGN. "We worked on several projects in the past 12 years. This time, I have to admit, I have never seen Brad so motivated. After all, we call it "deIce 477" because its 477% more efficient. The airlines and especially the travelers will be happy about that. As our strong relationship with our friends at FIU continues to grow, Brad will keep us focused on this and many more FIU projects to come."

"I am thrilled to accept this appointment to oversee the development of this exciting cutting edge technology," says Mr. Nelson. Graphene as described in Wikipedia is the basic structural element for carbon nanotubes and other related allotropes of carbon. The hexagonal structure is the strongest material ever tested and the work in this field has resulted in two Nobel Prizes in Physics, "for groundbreaking experiments regarding the two-dimensional material graphene."

"The potential for developing applications and products for graphene are limitless, in the near future graphene will be everywhere," Mr. Nelson continued. "Getting in on the ground floor of this revolution of new technology is a dream come true for me. I have found working with Ernie on various projects over the past 12 years to be a pleasure, his up front and transparent nature regarding business operations make for a supportive work environment maintaining critical open communication."

SIGN is a public holding company established for the purpose of acquiring unique technology and developing products that make a difference. The company has completed its due diligence and expected to offer its Private Placement Memorandum (PPM) to interested, qualified investors early next month.
