DMI Recognized for its Role in Conducting Research for the "Intranet of the Future"

3M, a Fortune 500 company with operations in 70 countries, needed a digital productivity and collaboration tool capable of facilitating efficient knowledge sharing among its workers. DMI conducted extensive user research for 3M Go, a comprehensive, SharePoint-based solution. Dubbed the "Intranet of the Future", 3M Go successfully streamlined communications, improved search and delivered multi-language content to more than 90,000 employees across the globe.
"Our team defined employee personas and experience journeys that spanned multiple job titles and geographic regions, a reflection of DMI's mission to build human-centric solutions," said Jay Thomas, DMI's President of Brand, Marketing & Customer Experience. "It's gratifying to see this solution be recognized as a Gold honoree at the Intranet and Digital Workplace Awards and as one of 2019's ten best platforms at the Intranet Design Annual Contest."
"The winning intranets were chosen through a review process from an impressive, international field of submissions based on design and usability," explained Jakob Nielsen, Principal, Nielsen Norman Group and creator of the Intranet Design Annual Contest. "Each of this year's honorees demonstrate that the intranet has solidly arrived as the hub of today's digital workplace."
