He is a nationally recognized educator with a passion for severing attainment gaps that exist in society. Noted achievements include becoming the youngest and first African-American Superintendent/ John Nations is a Member and Practice Chair of the Business Services Group at Evans & Dixon L.L.C., a full-service business and litigation law firm. He previously served as President and CEO of Bi-State Development and, prior to that, as Mayor of Chesterfield for three terms. Nations has extensive experience counseling clients, as well as negotiating opportunities with a range of public officials including Presidential Cabinet Secretaries, federal agency leaders, Governors, state agency leaders, county leaders, municipal officials, and special district leaders. "Dr. McCoy and Mr. Nations bring a wide array of strengths and diverse talents to our board," said OFS" Executive Director Kristen Wild. Founded in 1981, Operation Food Search (OFS) is a hunger relief organization that provides food and nutrition education.
