Upscale Sidewalk Sale is a Great Day for Shopping, Fun and Fundraising

SARASOTA, Fla. - Feb. 7, 2019 - PRLog -- Blue skies and busy shoppers combined to create a very successful Upscale Sidewalk Sale. Hosted by Designing Women Boutique on February 2nd, this high-end consignment shopping event drew impressive crowds with organizers estimating that hundreds came to enjoy the day and sales for the shop recorded one of the best days in the history of the company.

Held under a tent on DWB grounds, the shopping extravaganza featured booths filled with brand-new, gently loved clothing, jewelry, home furnishings and accessories, vintage items, luggage, handbags, and much more. Appraisers as seen on PBS's Antiques Roadshow were kept busy throughout the day offering advice and evaluations which proved to be a popular attraction for many attendees.

Proceeds from Upscale Sidewalk Sale will benefit DWB's grants program and their signature GroundWorks initiative that funds scholarships, mentoring and career advancement opportunities. Booths were merchandised by GroundWorks partners, including:
