David has an MSc in Renewable Energy Systems Engineering from the University of Surrey in the UK and an honours degree in Chemical Engineering. He started his career with Texaco and Mobil, before moving into management consulting, initially with PwC and Arthur D. Little, before forming his own consulting firm in 2002. His recent consulting work includes an evaluation of global advanced bio-fuels and bio-oil conversion technologies for refinery co-processing, an evaluation of current developments and commercial deployment of advanced bio-fuels, an assessment of low carbon structured interventions and innovation hubs, the development of incubation plans for the development of technologies, products and processes in energy efficiency, biofuels, power generation and battery storage, and the development of governance models and processes for renewable energy joint ventures. David has worked in Europe, US, South America, Middle East, India, Australia, and Africa, and has lived in England, Scotland, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, Uganda and Tanzania.
