Open Source ERPS, a cloud provider of open source ERP solutions is hosting a collegiate and professional Hackathon and Career Fair in New York, May 17 - 19
By: Open Source ERPS
Registration for the Open Source ERP hackathon opened February 1st and provides an array of programming from classes, panels, and mentorship from some of the brightest tech minds in the B2B space.
The hackathon will focus on providing opportunities to a diverse array of college students and professionals normally not exposed to the ERP world. They will be exposed to how these systems are responsible for facilitating billions of dollars in deals and millions of jobs throughout the world from farming to agriculture, health care, manufacturing, and education. The focus of the hackathon is to allow students and young professionals gain insight into what it's like to be an enterprise-level developer.
"New York is an amazing up and coming tech hub for young bright minds and I am excited to be a part of the event" - said Jeremy Andrews, one of the committee's organizers. "It's exciting to watch the next generation of computer science professionals improve their coding skills and develop products that can, in turn, improve the lives of so many people around the world by making systems, processes, and procedures more efficient and effective to industries and companies who need them most".
