Similar to Master P's landmark deal, RProphet's label (VVS Music 1) teamed up with Ray Hamilton (former CEO of Legion of Doom Dj's) That Rabbit distribution in a joint venture with Sony music Orchard to deliver his highly anticipated album, "THE VOICE." Smash hit "Jesse James", a single on the album, is sure to crash radio waves worldwide. RProphet's witty lyrics also makes reference to R. Kelley's behavior, and some may even say it's an R. Kelly diss.
Before embarking on his solo career, Kenneth was a lead member of the multi-platinum rap group titled Nappy Roots while also attending Western Kentucky University. Rolling Stone writer Toure' was quoted saying "RProphet has a voice in hip hop that only comes around once in every generation."
With Nappy Roots, the artist experienced massive achievements, but eventually, decided to go solo. He collaborated with former Cash Money producer Mannie Fresh on a stunning hit single, "Run Tell the DJ To Crank It," which went on to be a very successful debut for his solo journey. RProphet also worked on a previous collaboration with Kanye West on "Walls Closing In," which was a major commercial success. He is looking forward to future collaborations with the cultural icon.
