Yarrow Family YMCA—Final Fundraising Push Before Spring Opening
The Yarrow Family YMCA is $375,000 away from reaching its $12 million fundraising goal needed to complete construction before its opening this spring.
Construction recently resumed in May 2018 with the building slated to open very soon.
"We're so close," says Ronnie Stone, Southeast Ventura County YMCA's CEO. "We're hoping donors, large and small will generously contribute so the Yarrow YMCA can open its doors fully debt free. Without paying debt services, our Y will be able to provide more financial aid to our community and ensure everybody has access regardless of their financial situation."
The name of the branch, the Yarrow Family YMCA, was revealed last September. It is named after long-time YMCA supporters Doug and Penny Yarrow.
"The building is in the final stage of construction,"
The Yarrow Family YMCA is at 31105 Thousand Oaks Blvd. For membership information, contact Christy Rosen, Member Experience Director at firstname.lastname@example.org, 818-707-9622 or go to www.YourNewY.org.
