Newly Recording Artist - GRAFIIK

ATLANTA - Feb. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Durty South Music Group welcomes new recording artist "GRAFIIK" better known in the acting world as Alaya Lee Walton. Born in Brooklyn NY, but was raised in Atlanta, GA most of her life, Alaya has found her way into this crazy world of Entertainment. As a child, her parents was in the music industry and she got to see first hand in how it works. She would go with them to the studio and most of the time, she would spend time at their home studio. She met quite a few of recording seasoned artists and got the entertainment bug but in the modeling aspect. Grafiik was a very shy girl and her family didn't know what or how she would turn out. So they were asked to sign her up to do some fashion modeling for the Nordstrom Children's Department store and she did that for 2 years straight until a photographer noticed her and her sister and introduced them to a friend who just happened to be a talent agent. When she went on her first self taped audition, her agent could not believe how talented she was due to her always being shy. Grafiik began to get familiar with the acting and modeling, she wanted to try out the music side. She was asked to write a song from her stern momager, and after she and her sister who co wrote it, came up with an idea for a catchy song that would still till this day, be a hit. Nerdy It Girl will be the ONLY genre song she'll do for the anti bullying campaign. Grafiik genre is now more Soulful - Pop. Being an established talented actress on stage and on screen, she is a triple threat x3. Her first album is to be released in 2020.
