WEST CHICAGO, Ill. - Feb. 4, 2019 - PRLog -- Older adults, caregivers and their advocates from DuPage and Kane Counties are invited to the first of four Advocacy Breakfast Collaboratives hosted by the Agency on Aging Northeastern Illinois on Friday, February 8 at Tabor Hills Supportive Living Community Semerad Pavilion (1327 Crystal Ave, Naperville). Registration will begin at 8:30 AM and the program will run from 9 AM – 11:30 AM. The Advocacy Breakfast Collaborative will discuss federal, state and local issues concerning the aging population. Community providers of services for seniors will give brief presentations about the value of home- and community-based services that positively impact the quality of life of seniors, people with disabilities, and caregivers. Legislators may raise other issues, and the program will conclude with a question-and-answer session if time allows.
