-- Expungement Attorney Lynne Torgerson won expungement of a shoplifting conviction out of the City of Brooklyn Center, County of Hennepin, State of Minnesota. In or about 2002, Ms. Torgerson's client walked out of a store wearing a pair of pants for which he had made no payment. In court, he received a stay of imposition of sentence, to be vacated and dismissed. In 2003, his case was dismissed. However, even where a case is dismissed, the court records and police reports may still interfere with employment and housing. Accordingly, Ms. Torgerson's client sought expungement of such records. In 2018, his request to expunge same was granted. Well done Ms. Torgerson and her client!
