Philadelphia, PA born, 13x Grammy Nominated, multi award winning, hip-hop soul artist, Musiq Soulchild and Riverside, CA, born, internationally known, contemporary visual artist, The Producer BDB has teamed up to take you on a journey of artistic expression through music, art, fashion and iconic culture. This is dedicated to J. DILLA
The DEWITT4DILLA Mixtape, is the first of a series of J Dilla influenced projects Soulchild plans to release. The 10 track mixtape, includes covers from some of the most iconic musicians of our time, Chaka Khan, Michael Jackson, Sade, Prince, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Anita Baker, Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye and Whitney Houston, infused with that revered J Dilla sound. Each of the tracks will be paired with one-of-a-kind (digital) visual art and one large custom piece will be created for purchase by The Producer BDB.
The evening will consist of passed hors d'oeuvres, a solo art exhibition, listening session and an in-depth Q&A with the artists. With top-notch artists, tasty treats and an enthusiastic crowd, it's sure to be an unforgettable sensory experience.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
A hip-hop soul artist that was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He built a reputation for being musically gifted, beat boxing for MC's, free styling on the open mic circuit or just performing acapella for strangers on the streets.
Deeply inspired by the R&B/Soul sound of the 70's he uses the name "Soulchild" as a way to show respect and admiration to his biggest musical influences such as Stevie Wonder, Donny Hathaway, Marvin Gaye and many others. He has received awards from Billboard, BET, ASCAP, BMI, and Soul Train. He has also earned award nominations from MTV, the American Music Awards, the NAACP, and 13 Grammy nominations.

An emergent contemporary artist who has lived and showcased all over the world. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, iconic culture, and modern fashion trends that flourish thru social media. He built a buzz creating street art of iconic characters, which he wheat-pasted all around the the world. This gained the attention of major galleries at home and abroad. His Artwork can be found globally in cities such as Paris, Madrid, Hong Kong, Miami, NYC, Tokyo, Singapore and Los Angeles.
