United Premier Soccer League Announces Midwest Expansion with Michigan Jaguars FC
Novi (Mich.).-Based Pro Development Club Joins UPSL for 2019 Spring Season

Based in Novi (Mich.), Michigan Jaguars FC will begin play in the UPSL Midwest Conference, and is finalizing its home venue in compliance with UPSL Minimum Standards.
United Premier Soccer League Midwest Conference Manager Cliff Conrad said, "Michigan has been good for the United Premier Soccer League, and we're pleased to welcome Michigan Jaguars FC to the Midwest Conference. Executive Director Paul Tinnion has helped create one of the most dynamic soccer clubs in Michigan, and it looks ready for even more growth as more and more soccer people recognize the potential of the UPSL's Pro/Rel Model. We wish Michigan Jaguars FC every success as they prepare to kick off the UPSL's 2019 Spring Season."
Michigan Jaguars is a designated U.S. Soccer Development Academy, a participant at Michigan State Cups, Region II competitions and National Cups since 1989.
Paul Tinnion is Executive Director of Michigan Jaguars, and will serve as General Manager of Michigan Jaguars FC.
Michigan Jaguars FC General Manager Paul Tinnion said, "We are excited to join the UPSL. This league will provide a platform for local high-level players to play during the summer months, as well as an opportunity for our youth players to learn while watching the team play."
Pete Pososki will serve as Youth Player Liaison and is tasked with integrating Michigan Jaguars youth players into the UPSL side.
John Kopko will assist with media relations, marketing and game-day operations.
The club will announce tryouts and its upcoming game schedule.

Michigan Jaguars FC is an American Soccer club currently based in Novi, Mich., and a new member of the United Premier Soccer League. Michigan Jaguars FC will play in the UPSL's Midwest Conference.
Founded in 1989, Michigan Jaguars FC can participate in the qualifying rounds for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup through their affiliation and membership with the UPSL, the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
United Premier Soccer League
The UPSL was formed in 2011 and currently includes more than 300 teams in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, Utah, Virginia and Wisconsin. UPSL is the fastest growing Pro Development League in the USA, with 400-plus teams targeted for 2019 Fall Season. Each UPSL team is individually owned and operated, and is responsible for maintaining either UPSL Pro Premier Division or Championship Division minimum standards.
UPSL teams are all eligible to participate in the U.S. Open Cup Qualifying Rounds through the leagues affiliation with the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) and the United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA).
