CINCINNATI - Jan. 30, 2019 - PRLog -- The Conductive Learning Center of Greater Cincinnati, a non-profit school dedicated to helping children and adult with neuromotor disorders live better, more independent lives, has moved to 6477 Cooper Road in Montgomery, Ohio 45242. The CLCGC move offers a more centralized and convenient location for established and future clients. It also provides additional space to expand to handle additional clients and offer new neuromotor disability services.

Rare, Unique Treatment

Motor challenges such as Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Stroke-related disabilities and Acquired Brain Damage are difficult for anyone to overcome. The CLCGC uses a rare, unique physical treatment called Conductive Education with children and adults. There are only 35 schools in the United States and CLCGC is the only one in the Greater Cincinnati area.

CLCGC's highly skilled and trained "Conductors" guide specifically designed rehabilitative

movements through rhythmic and repetitive exercises. Each exercise targets useful life functions, such as walking, dressing, tying shoes, washing, and many others.

Who CLCGC Serves

CLCGC serves children and adults with neuromotor disorders related to complications of prematurity, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, Stroke-related disabilities or Acquired Brain Injury. Using a complex holistic and intensive approach that combines medical knowledge with educational methods, children and adults can gain control over their body – and accomplish tasks many would not think possible. With increased mobility, strength, problem-solving skills, confidence, and self-esteem, not only will the individual's quality of life be improved, but so will their families.

"Our move not only enables us to expand and grow but also allows us to offer tuition assistance such as the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship (http://education.ohio.gov/Topics/Other-Resources/Scholars...) and potentially new waivers and grants. In addition, we plan on providing additional adult services for Stroke victims, Acquired Brain Trauma, and Parkinson's disease," said Executive Director, Ms. Kelli Flannigan.
