Lenexa's Senior Living Fund, LLC Closes Its First Opportunity Fund with Returns of 13.75%

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Jan. 29, 2019 - PRLog -- Senior Living Fund, LLC (SLF), located in Lenexa, Kansas, recently completed the wind-down and full distribution of its first opportunity fund, which opened in December 2016. The Fund, which invested in a value-add senior housing community near Daytona Beach, Florida, resulted in an average investor IRR of 13.75% over the two-year Fund life.

SLF is a private equity company that invests in both ground-up and value-add senior housing communities throughout the nation. SLF has created eight senior housing funds to date. Three of these funds are currently open for investment, with more expected to launch later in 2019. The company's current fund offerings project investor returns between 7.5% and 18.0%.

Senior Living Fund is led by Dan Brewer, the company's Chief Fund Manager. Brewer has worked in business development and real estate investment for more than 25 years. He sees senior housing as a recession-resistant investment opportunity and has worked to create numerous different types of funds—DST/1031 exchange, fixed-income, opportunity, and traditional private equity funds—to benefit a wide range of investors.
