A former employee of Nestle, which relocated its corporate office from Glendale CA to Arlington VA in June 2018, Donina realized that losing her job with the iconic food brand was the perfect storm and the best reason to stop side-gigging her business and to truly start building it. "I had been very unhappy for a long time, and though I wanted to make my event business "real", I just kept having excuses for being comfortable in a day job that I no longer wanted to do," states Donina.

Ohh Events is a full-service event company that specifically serves small and medium companies that want to level up their brand image and add events to their marketing channels. She also works with speakers and coaches who host workshops and seminars. Corporate events is more than just the annual company holiday party. Smart meeting planning is the foundation for all great events, and Donina helps executive leaders during their meetings to focus on goals and priorities, and then strategizes on what types of events would make sense to implement.
Donina understands the corporate world. Having been a contract administrator for over ten (10) years for the likes of Disney, Warner Bros, and AEG Live, she "gets" the corporate structure. She also benefits from her past role the meeting planner for her teams at Nestle, IHOP and Applebee's. She's helped to create elevated event experiences for the executive-level members she's supported.
There's no shortage of event planners in Los Angeles, and events remains a strong industry in the current economy. Coupled with the extraordinary growth of the number of women starting businesses in the last ten (10) years1, Donina and Ohh Events are in good company.
Ohh Events' mission is to serve smaller companies that want to create positive disruption in their industry, and to help ease the work it takes to plan and manage the massive amounts of meetings executives and leaders have to attend.
Ohh Events is located in the heart of Pasadena. Donina loves being able to work from a laptop and thus always flexible to meet clients and stakeholders face-to-face. She is an active member of a various organizations in Pasadena including the Pasadena Business Networking Association and Wine, Women & Wow. She is also a member of the Irwindale Chamber of Commerce and has been a guest speaker at the San Gabriel Valley Business Association.
