#branfordlove bouquet The Branford Counseling Center (BCC) was created more than 40 years ago out of a grassroots effort to help support Branford residents struggling with substance abuse and mental health issues and has grown to become an inspiring Center in the community. "We are honored that #branfordlove and Florals by Kait have created the beautiful #branfordlove bouquet to help support the Branford Counseling Center," said BCC Clinical Director, Catherine Stone. "This bouquet represents the inspiring power of community and the people (and businesses) who help make the Branford community so special." The #branfordlove bouquet features an arrangement of fresh, hand selected flowers wrapped in custom #branfordlove tissue paper. Branford's #branfordlove movement is a top trending community hashtag initiative created by local business owner Shannon Beth Engravalle, of {sb}Cre8tive. Engravalle's idea was born out of her appreciation for the community and BCC. From now thru Valentine's Day, people are encouraged to purchase and share a photo with their bouquet including the hashtag #branfordlove. BCC offers a variety of services ranging from outpatient mental health treatment to social services. In addition, the BCC offers a mentoring program in the Branford Schools and serves as the Youth Service Bureau for the Town of Branford, runs the annual Secret Santa Program, the Pat Andriole Family Day event, Summer Youth Employment Program for qualifying youth, and collects and distributes diapers for families in need. Florals by Kait is offering free delivery for the #branfordlove bouquet throughout Branford. About the Branford Counseling Center BCC serves a clinically and economically diverse population of children, adults, and families helping hundreds of Branford residents each year by providing psychotherapy services, helping with basic needs, and linking individuals to needed services in the community. Through its outpatient clinic, BCC offers individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. They also have Board Certified Child and Adult Psychiatrists, Yale Child Study Fellows, a psychiatric APRN, and a nurse to conduct medication evaluations and ongoing medication management as needed. Crisis services include a 24/7 on-call phone line and urgent visits. BCC takes Medicaid, Medicare, and most commercial insurances. BCC's Social Services department offers financial assistance and case management to Branford residents who are struggling with daily challenges and life changing circumstances. This might include temporary assistance with food, medication, housing, and home heating.
