BERKELEY, Calif. - Jan. 27, 2019 - PRLog -- Recognized as the epicenter of the music business for women in the San Francisco Bay Area for half a decade, the 2019 Girl Power! Conference is set to do something that it has not done before: Focus on the success of female music artists.

Dubbed "Level Up: Helping Female Music Artists Get To The Next Level," this year's Girl Power! Conference is dedicated to empowering creative, driven, talented female music artists who have professional ambitions with the information, tools, and resources they need to succeed in the modern music industry. Level Up is a phase that means: progress to the next level. The 2019 Girl Power! Conference is designed to facilitate that progress.

Attendees of all musical backgrounds will benefit from a carefully selected collection of industry insiders who will address a wide range of success oriented topics, share stories and commentary, provide insights into the roles they've played in helping music artists level up, and/or reveal strategies that they've used to level up themselves. Speakers will be featured in both panel and TED Talk style formats, and will also be available for one-on-one counseling sessions.

Both Kerry Fiero, The Girl Power! Conference producer, and her husband, co-producer, Gian Fiero, are former music artist managers. They produced The Strive For More Music Showcase in 2007, which provided a dynamic professional development platform that launched music artists Rozzi (Columbia Records), Adrian Marcel (Universal Records), and Grammy nominated Kehlani (Atlantic Records).

Song selection was a focal point in launching the aforementioned music artists. Songwriting takes center stage at this year's conference with Face the Music!, a commercial song critiquing session conducted by established music artists, songwriters, producers, label executives, and sound engineers that provide critical feedback on songs, songwriting, and performance.

"Gian and I have been helping generations of music artists and industry professionals level-up for decades," Kerry says affirmatively. "This is a golden opportunity for female music artists to receive guidance, support, and inspiration from professionals who have helped others succeed, and can be the pivotal industry ally they need to level up. Our past focus was the female industry professional who worked behind the scenes for, with, or on behalf of the artists or companies. We've covered a lot of important topics for them that have positively impacted their careers. The goal is for this special 2019 music artist centered conference to do the same, and bring things full circle."

The 2019 Girl Power! Conference returns April 27th to the David Brower Center, 2150 Allston Way, in Berkeley, California.
