Ars Musica Presents Joseph Colaneri Master Class

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. - Jan. 26, 2019 - PRLog -- Metropolitan Opera Conductor and Glimmerglass Festival Music Director, Joseph Colaneri, will coach a Master Class for Ars Musica Chorale's Encore Young Artists this Wednesday, January 30th at Bethlehem Lutheran Church from 7-10 pm. Come enjoy an intimate performance of beautiful opera arias sung by our soloists.

The Master Class is open for attendance by all and we encourage avocational choir members, aspiring student singers, and music lovers to attend and enjoy a peek behind the curtain at some of NY and NJ's most talented musicians. So bring your friends! Light refreshments will be served.

Music Director of the acclaimed Glimmerglass Festival since 2013, Joseph Colaneri has served as a member of the Metropolitan conducting roster since 1998. Dedicated to the next generation of opera singers, Colaneri concurrently serves as Artistic Director of Opera at Mannes School of Music at The New School in New York City. Colaneri served as Artistic Director of the West Australian Opera from 2012-2014.

Established in 1965, Ars Musica Chorale is one of the oldest and finest choral groups in Bergen County, well-known for presenting outstanding and unique programs. Under the direction of Music Director James Kennerley, Ars Musica Chorale performs four major concerts annually in Bergen County. They have performed in Great Britain, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Hungary, Austria, Italy, Finland and Russia.
