Federal employees can use the national truck-sharing driver network for free
- Jan. 25, 2019
-- Effective immediately, Truxx is announcing a new program that offers their service for free, up to $75 for federal employees who are effected by the partial US Federal Government shut-down. Active employees who are not receiving pay-checks are eligible to take advantage of the program, simply named Thank You For Your Service (TYFYS).
While Truxx intends to offer the program until which time the federal government is fully functioning, the program will be reviewed on a weekly basis, and the company says it maintains the rights to terminate the TYFYS program at any time.
"This is not a political statement. It's simply our way of saying thank you to those who serve" said Jamie Hess, CEO and co-Founder.
Truxx has built the first national truck-sharing driver network and anticipates eligible federal employees from every state to take advantage of the program. Joe Hess, COO and Co-Founder explains "This is not a Washington DC or Northern Virginia only offer. It's a national program and I'm honored to support it"About Truxx
