Qualis Corporation granted ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. - Jan. 25, 2019 - PRLog -- Qualis Corporation, a lead integrator of technology and engineering services to NASA and the Department of Defense, achieved certification to the ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D standards for the scope of its management of engineering and technical service programs for aviation, space, and defense.

As one of the most widely recognized standards in the world, ISO 9001 sets international requirements for quality management systems of all sizes. AS9100 incorporates all the elements of ISO 9001 plus additional elements unique to the aerospace industry. The registration provides objective evidence that Qualis has met and will continue to meet all the requirements of its quality management system through maintaining this third-party certification.

ISO 9001 provides guidelines intended to increase Qualis' business efficiency and customer satisfaction by improving productivity, reducing unnecessary costs, and ensuring quality of processes and products. The AS9100 standard, developed by major U.S. aerospace manufacturers, likewise was created as a way to reduce defects in the supplier chain; continually improve quality, boost customer satisfaction, and reduce time spent on audits, requirements, and documentation.
