SEATTLE - Jan. 24, 2019 - PRLog -- The Second Annual Seattle World Tour (https://www.allstaropera.com/swt2), a showcase of local musicians performing in historic venues across Seattle, co-organized presented by Hip Hop/Soul band, All Star Opera (http://allstaropera.com/) and Respect My Region (https://www.respectmyregion.com/), raised $10,000 and mountains of clothing for Mary's Place, a non-profit that serves women, children and families on their journey out of homelessness.

In addition to clothing and funds donated by fans at each show, proceeds from an online auction of collectible Jones Soda Bottles with custom labels and Tour merchandise sales, All Star Opera and a number of other bands donated their show proceeds to the Mary's Place "No Child Sleeps Outside" campaign.

All Star Opera and Respect My Region handed over an oversized check to Marty Hartman, Executive Director, Mary's Place today. "What an incredible effort by so many! We are honored to be the beneficiary of the Seattle World Tour and so grateful to the bands, the venues, and the fans for their generosity and compassion. The clothing donated will keep moms, dads, and kids warm and dry; and the $10,000 raised will bring hundreds of families inside to safety and stability and on to permanent housing. You are truly saving lives and making a difference in our community! BIG thank you to All Star Opera and Respect My Region for organizing this amazing event!," Hartman said.

"We are so thankful to the artists who participated in the 2019 Seattle World Tour, the venues and our incredible sponsors Jones Soda, Dick's Drive-In, Zeek's Pizza, Top Pot Doughnuts, Seattle Cider, Seattle Chocolate's, Tarukino, Lux Pot Shop, Guayaki Yerba Mate" said Seth McDonald, Executive Director of The Seattle World Tour and member of All Star Opera. McDonald said based on the success of the 2019 event, fans have every reason to look forward to the Seattle World Tour 2020.

"The Seattle World Tour showed what can be accomplished when you bring together artists, fans and sponsors to support a cause that everyone can get behind like the "No Child Sleeps Outside" campaign," said Mitch Pfeifer, co-owner of Respect My Region. "A first of its kind: a 100% local music "festival", the series was curated by a team of musicians and creatives who are inspired by the generosity and support of Seattle music lovers.
