Alcides I. Avila Joins Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd.'s Board of Directors

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands - Jan. 23, 2019 - PRLog -- Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd., a Cayman Islands insurance company, has announced that Alcides I. Avila, has been named to its Board of Directors.

A Corporate and Financial Services Partner at Avila, Rodriguez Hernandez Mean & Ferri LLP in Miami, Avila's appointment brings a wide-range of valuable experience and expertise related to finance. His appointment to the board was approved by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), after Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd. conducted an extensive search.

Avila brings to his new role, 35 years of experience in global credit expansion and mergers & acquisitions (M&A). In his career as a corporate and financial services attorney, he has represented clients before the U.S. Federal Reserve, The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.

His career has included serving as an independent counsel to several banks focusing on compliance and enhanced regulatory requirements. He is a standing member of the Florida Bar Association, American Bar Association and is an adjunct professor at Florida International University School of Law.

Avila graduated cum laude from Notre Dame Law School.
