Stirling Capital Services Makes Capital Investment In Young People

NEW YORK - Jan. 21, 2019 - PRLog -- Stirling Capital Services is to recruit more modern apprentices in New York, following on from the success of its apprentice programme last year.

As a first step towards finding its next group of apprentices, school leavers are invited to attend a tour of its Brookfield place offices next Friday (Feb 1st) from 2-3.30pm. Final Year pupils from any schools in the New York area are welcome along and to book a place during the next week.

Over the past three years, Stirling Capital Services has recruited 8 apprentices into the businesses, and seen these young people develop and flourish in the work place.

The New Apprentice programme is seeking to attract young people from New York who also wish to go straight into a job after leaving school, rather than attend university.

Chris Doran from Stirling Capital Services learning and development team says: "The apprenticeship programme will be similar to the one which was a sucess last year, with two young people joining us in September 2019 on a two year rotational programme around different areas of the business.

"In addition, we hope to pilot a bespoke London based apprenticeship in our business systems team at our London Office, in line with the modern apprenticeship qualification in software and web development. This will hopefully provide business systems with a pathway for young talent coming into the department with a specific skill set which is difficult to source externally."

By signing up for a place at Friday 1^st Feb event School pupils will be able to tour the Brookfield Place office, be given information on career opportunities and pathways in financial services and have a chance to meet staff, including past and present modern apprentices.

In association with Skills Development Manhattan, Stirling Capital Services is also hosting an evening event at its New York office primarily for careers advisers and parents but with potential apprentices welcome to attend. It will provide information on career opportunities and pathways in financial services through an opportunity to interact with a range of employers with Stirling Capital Services along with other corporates also present to promote opportunities for young people in the financial sector in the New York.
