On Top Of a Cloud Announces Compilation Placement with Rosenklang Records

STATELINE, Nev. - Jan. 22, 2019 - PRLog -- On Top Of a Cloud is pleased to announce the placement of "Marquees, Matinees and Marionettes" to Classical Music of the 21st Century - Vol. 8; a compilation CD from various artists by Rosenklang; "a well-established label and music management company with over fifteen years of experience in the field of music marketing and management."  Rosenklang partners include Universal, Sony and Warner Music.

"Upon the climactic conclusion of Ravel's Bolero one August afternoon, my daughter immediately began to hum this melody. Ironically, I had always considered it to be unconsciously influenced by the great 20th Century composer, whose work I admire greatly. Originally found in 'Minuet in D,' the engaging descending and ascending motif I found so attractive that I considered using a derivation of it as part of a different composition."

Faegre added:

"Beginning with the temple block, the track takes on an orchestral feel as timpani, vibraslap, triangle and snare texture the production. I had great fun in its production, and it will remain among my favorite works."
