Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd. Names Ambassador Luis J. Lauredo to its Board of Directors

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands - Jan. 18, 2019 - PRLog -- Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd., a Cayman Islands insurance company, is proud to announce the appointment of Ambassador Luis J. Lauredo, former U.S. Ambassador to the Organization of American States (OAS), to its Board of Directors.

Ambassador Lauredo's appointment was approved by the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority (CIMA), after Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd. conducted an extensive search.

Appointed as the U.S. Permanent Representative to the Organization of American States (OAS) in 1999, Ambassador Lauredo served with other hemispheric leaders to strengthen democracy, advance human rights, foster economic integration and promote peace and security throughout the Western Hemisphere.

Adding to his notable position, Ambassador Lauredo has also served as Senior Vice President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, Commissioner of the Florida Public Service Commission, and as a senior consultant at the law firm Hutton & Williams LLP. He was honored by Hispanic Business magazine as one the nation's top "100 Influential Hispanics.

Ambassador Lauredo's diverse background and impressive track-record will have a meaningful impact on Premier Assurance Group SPC Ltd.'s corporate governance and general oversight of the affairs of the insurance company.

He holds degrees from Columbia University, Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Madrid in Spain.
