MINNEAPOLIS - Jan. 16, 2019 - PRLog -- Building Maintenance Management is proud to announce a new service they are offering for the Twin Cities metro. They are setting up an after hours emergency maintenance service to handle maintenance requests outside of normal working hours. They hope this service will assist property managers and in-house maintenance technicians to have more flexibility and peace of mind.

BMM has been in the property maintenance business for more than 30 years. During that time, they have noticed some of the difficulties property managers experience with building maintenance. Many properties have their own maintenance staff who can handle most things. However, if they only have one or two people, those employees need to be on call 24/7. This makes it hard on the maintenance staff and often difficult for managers to keep skilled maintenance workers.

BMM is offering a solution for this problem. They developed a system for their skilled maintenance technicians to be on-call at all times. With this after hours emergency maintenance service, property managers will have a maintenance person they can rely on 24/7/365.

Property managers can still have their own in-house maintenance staff to handle regular tasks and emergencies during their working hours. However, once they go home, they can relax knowing if something comes up, the BMM team can take care of it.

BMM has a call center set up where any after hours maintenance inquiries will go. They will then send a notice to their maintenance technicians covering that shift. One of them will respond to the call. BMM will have their employees on different shifts so all hours of the day and night will be covered.

BMM's staff will communicate with the in-house maintenance crew for each property so they will know of any issues that came up and can follow up with any needed repairs. Basically, BMM will be an extension of each property's maintenance staff.

This service can give property managers peace of mind knowing any issue will be take care of right away by an experienced technician. They also won't drain their own maintenance employees. To receive this service, property managers need to sign up with BMM and pay a monthly rate based on the number of units at their property.

BMM is excited to offer this service for property managers in the Twin Cities. They hope it will fill a void in the property maintenance industry for around-the-clock service that won't depend on just a few people.
