Tech startup Surf launches rideshare entertainment tablets in Dallas
Today Surf, a Phoenix-based startup, expands its network of interactive, entertainment tablets to include Dallas-Fort Worth rideshare drivers.
Starting today, rideshare drivers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area can apply to receive a free Surf tablet. Top-performing drivers who complete 150 or more rides each month are paid to carry the tablet in their vehicle.
"We are thrilled to share Surf's engaging rideshare entertainment platform with the passengers, drivers and local businesses of Dallas," said Eli Chmouni, Surf founder and CEO. "We look forward to creating memorable experiences with all who come across a Surf tablet during their next rideshare trip."
This announcement comes just a month after Surf announced its initial launch into Texas in December. Dallas drivers will join the network of rideshare drivers using Surf tablets in Phoenix, Los Angeles and Austin.
