Over the years, elevated pet food bowls have become popular due to the many advantages they offer both pet and owner. Elevated feeders and dishes tend to keep feeding areas cleaner and can reduce sloppy eating behavior in some dogs and cats. They also promote correct posture and proper digestion in tall dogs, helps to curb food aggression for some pups, and overall, provides pets with comfort while eating since they no longer have to strain their neck and/or back.
Kitchen Dog has developed dish sets that improve and promote a healthier feeding position helping to make a pet's mealtime more enjoyable. It's also a desirable feeding system among pet owners due to its customizable features that can fit any animals' needs, and the ability to match any home décor. It eliminates tripping hazards, spills due to accidental kicking and dogs dumping their bowls. Customers can keep the floor under the feeding system cleaner by not having to move bowls or feeding stands prior to sweeping and moping.
This one-of-a-kind wall mounted feeding system allows for mounting at any height to accommodate any size pet; but is especially beneficial for large breeds or dogs suffering with neck, back or arthritis pain. Kitchen Dog's dish sets reduce stress on joints and improves digestion by making swallowing easier. It's a game-changing product that will instantly transform your pets dining experience.

"At Kitchen Dog, we are committed to creating the highest quality pet feeding systems that provide the best feeding solutions for the many challenges facing pets of all sizes and their owners," expresses Terry Kasper, President Kitchen Dog "Our team is excited to showcase our unique, modern and beneficial feeding system at this year's highly anticipated Global Pet Expo event!"
The Story Behind Kitchen Dog…
It all started with a dog. In April 2008, Terry Kasper adopted a Chow/Cattle Dog mix and named her Nikita. She fit right into the family and quickly earned herself the nickname "Kitchen Dog" due to her love for food and supervising all cooking and kitchen activity. Unfortunately, Nikita was suffering with a few health issues. She had a sensitive stomach and a wheezy cough that would cause her to gag.
After many vet trips and intensive tests, a restricted diet helped her stomach, but the wheezing was still a problem. One veterinarian suggested raising her food dish off the floor, since her cough may have been caused by an enlarged esophagus. An elevated bowl lets gravity help with swallowing.
With the recession and vet bills, Terry's budget was limited. To save money, he devised a system to mount the bowls to his wall using bowls he already had and some 1 x 12 wood in the garage. His idea went from concept to reality the next day when he mounted the bowl holder to his wall. While Nikita's cough was eventually diagnosed as bronchitis, Terry kept the mounted feeders because of the benefits of elevated feeding and how they made his life much easier. No more scattered kibble or spilled water bowls!
Many friends and family complimented Terry's mounted dish holder over the years therefore he decided to create a more affordable, easy-to-use design and that's when Kitchen Dog, Inc was born. Nikita passed away just before her 7th birthday. Kitchen Dog products are her legacy, designed to keep all fur babies happy and healthy!
